Enthusiastic response to
Childrens Creative Writing Workshops
with Jack Trelawny
Harry, a ten-year-old who attended Jack's Creative Writing Workshop at Waterstone's Colchester (Culver Square) on Saturday 26 January, sent the enthusiastic email below about his experience of the event...
Dear Mr Trelawny,
My name is Harry and I'm ten years old. I came along to your workshop in Colchester on Saturday and I really enjoyed it.
I bought your books and I've started reading book 1, it's brilliant!
Those were the first signed books I have ever had and there probably one of the best!
I really enjoyed your workshop and you have inspired me to write some books.
I've started to write a adventure book which is set in the future.
I was so excited at the end I forgot to get a signed book for my friend Jasmin.
She really enjoys adventure stories and her birthday's on the Friday coming up.
This may not be possible but please could you send a signed copy of The Crystal Pool to me for her birthday. if possiable.
My address is ...
If you could, that'll be fantastic and please let me know how it will cost.
p.s. my mum knows I am sending this e-mail.
